Class 1/2B

After the Easter holidays we came back to school to find a bag in our corridor. We talked in pairs about who it might belong to. It did not belong to any teachers in school so we thought we should make posters to help find the owner. We thought about putting them in places people could see. Luckily someone saw our posters and we found out the owner was Dougal. He has sent us the story of his adventure as a thank you present!

Finding out information

We have been looking at the United Kingdom as our topic this term. As part of this we have been looking at sources of information and how we could find out information. In pairs we chose a country within the United Kingdom and created a question about what we wanted to find out. We then used Google to find the answer to our question.

We discussed e-safety and how to be safe when searching on the internet. All the children were good at waiting for approval before clicking on any of the links.
