Welcome to Our Sustainability Page!
At Bishops Itchington Primary School, we believe in the power of small actions to create a big impact on our planet.  We consider sustainability in everything we do, and we are committed to teaching our students the importance of caring for the environment.  We have signed up to Energy Sparks so we understand our energy use through the year and to help us make changes that are effective.

Why Sustainability Matters
Sustainability means meeting our current needs without compromising the ability of future generations to meet theirs. By practicing sustainability, we help to protect the environment, conserve natural resources, and ensure a healthy planet for all.  To guide our school, we have a sustainability action plan in place that is reviewed by our Governors on a regular basis.

Our Sustainability Initiatives

Get Involved

We believe that sustainability is a community effort. Here are some ways you can get involved:

  • Volunteer: Join our events or help with our garden and recycling initiatives.
  • Support Our Programs: Donations and sponsorships help us expand our sustainability projects.
  • Practice at Home: Encourage your children to adopt sustainable practices at home, such as reducing waste, saving energy, and conserving water.
