We were lucky enough to have some visitors form Warwickshire College. The students came in and had with them, lots of different sorts of animals. We were able to hold or touch the animals and ask lots of questions about them.
We saw and touched snakes, stick insects, African snails, a skink, bearded dragon, tortoises, ferrets and a tarantula.
At the college they have lots of different animals but were not able to bring them all in, so we had a live video link conversation with more students at the college. The students showed us lots more animals including rats, gerbils, hamsters and more. It was really funny because the rat escaped and was running around the college room! We were then able to ask the students questions about the animals for them to answer.
We had a fantastic morning and are very thankful to all the staff and students for giving up their time and sharing their knowledge with us.
