Splurge guns and gang war ruled when Year 5 and 6 children excelled themselves in a full production of the play, "Bugsy Malone", which ran at an enteraining pace for 1 hour and 20 minutes.  The play is set in the depression of the 1920s in New York city.  The play had an audience of over 180 people in two showings during the penultimate week of the Summer Term, and 55 senior residents watched the dress rehearsal the day before!  The show was an overwhelming success and quite "the talk of the village" according to many.  The production was put together in just 5 weeks; an amazing achievement for the children.  The musical was brilliantly supported by the Year 4 class choir.  An amazing experience for all the children involved.
